Environmental Initiatives
Our approach to environmentally responsible management goes beyond responsible business practices. The Grange has become actively engaged in two great environmental conservation initiatives – Remnant & Native Vegetation Conservation and Water Sustainability Conservation.
Remnant / Native Vegetation Conservation
Both courses at The Grange are situated amongst corridors of beautiful remnant native vegetation. To ensure the survival of these remnant plant species, The Grange became actively involved in remnant vegetation restoration and native revegetation.

Water Sustainability and Conservation
In recent years, urban sprawl and industrial pressures have put stress on Adelaide’s water resources. To reduce its impact, and ensure sustainable water resources, the Club established a relationship with the Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges Natural Resource Management Board (AMLRNRM). This relationship resulted in the construction of The Grange Golf Club’s Wetlands and the implementation of the Wetland Aquifer Storage and Recharge Scheme.

Environmental Policy
To ensure the management of this prestigious facility occurs in the most environmentally responsible manner, the Club has created an Environmental Policy. The Environmental Policy has been used by the Club to direct business operations and course management activities.
