On this medium length par 3 the green shifted slightly right due to the large trees on the front left. This green set up changed to create a front right lower pin and several pins on an upper shelf almost creating two separate greens. Some bunkers were added to enhance the sandbelt appearance and they also function for play on hole 2. The forward tee shifted right to allow for an open run up approach into the green.

Playing Tips

Around and on the Green: The green is protected by many bunkers. This is one of the largest greens on the East with many pin locations, so the most difficult part could be the putting. The green has several pin placements none of which play too easy. With trouble short and right there is no secret where the best place is to miss. A shelf runs through the centre of the green which gives you the impression that there are two separate greens. The bunkers on the right hand side of this hole are simply to separate the 2nd and 3rd holes and add to the visual of this hole. These bunkers should not come into play. The forward tee angled from the right allows the golfer to run an approach into the green between the bunkers. Note: Be aware of the daily wind, hit enough club and aim at the tall pine tree in the distance.
