Our Sanderson Cup team faced Kooyonga at Kooyonga for their semi-final match on Sunday.
It was a tough day for us, having to play our opponents on their home course, and whilst the team fought valiantly, they were unfortunately unable to get the win.
Despite the disappointing loss, the highlight of the day for us was Jin-Young Yun’s hole in one on the 3rd hole. It was a beautiful iron shot into the green that disappeared behind the bunker, and resulted in observers at the back of the green woohooing and jumping about. Well done Jin!!
I am extremely proud of every single member of the team. They played their heart out this season and are to be congratulated for making the semi final. Next year we will strive to go a couple of steps further!!
