In cold and windy conditions at Tea Tree Gully Golf Club, all five of our Sharp Cup players were leading by the halfway point, with four going on to win with holes to spare.

Hunter, Alan (back from a week off), Matt and Angus all played very strong and consistent golf and didn’t allow their opponents any opportunity. It generally took better than par to win a hole against them.

Bill led early but struggled in the wind on an unfamiliar course and fell short on the last hole.

This strong win keeps us in finals contention with one round to go this Sunday against Tea Tree Gully that could still secure us third place finish on the minor round table.

It was great to tee off around the same time as the Division II junior team, as it provided an opportunity for the both squads to mingle before hand. Senior members of our squad took time out to talk to our younger stars of the future before their match.

Again, a very strong performance from all five boys, great sportsmanship and great support for the Div. II squad. Very proud of the way they went about it.
