On Monday 31/10/22 Grange hosted the 2022 Moller Cup. It was held on our West Course & is an Aggregate Stableford Team event between Grange, North Adelaide, Mt Osmond and Stirling.
Teams of 10 from each club with the handicap range between 17.1-45 play in groups of four. It was a fairly dismal day weather wise, but it was a great result with Grange winning the Cup with 320 from North Adelaide on 286, Mt Osmond 279 and Stirling 258. Well done and Thank you for a job well done to Monica Byrnes, top scoring with 37 points, Belinda Singleton, Ruth Craig, Tina Laurendi, Anne Moschou,, Ann Coats, Jody Kardachi, Steph Murdock, Fran Hylton, and Cathy Linke.
We enjoyed a lovely lunch in the main Dining area, and enjoyed talking with Women from the other Clubs. We accepted with pleasure the handing over of the Tropy from North Adelaide. This event has been going since 1957. To date Grange have now won 20 times, Mt. Osmond 18, North Adelaide 9 and Stirling (formerly Mt Lofty) 8 times.
Next year the event moves to Mt. Osmond. Congratulations Team!
